Menomonee Falls Is One of the Safest communities in Wisconsin!
SafeWise is happy to release our fifth annual Safest Cities report. Here are the 20 Safest Cities in Wisconsin for 2019. See if your city made the list.
Wisconsin has a safety record to be proud of. Statewide rates of violent and property crime are below the national averages of 4.49 and 27.11, respectively. The Badger state reported 4.22 violent crimes per 1,000 in 2017, and the property crime rate was 22.71.
Among the safest cities, 80% had one or fewer violent crimes, and the top three saw zero. The cities did well in regard to property crime also, with no city having more than 16.77 incidents per 1,000. Arson was the least common property crime, with just two counts reported among all 20 cities.
